Marking a new chapter for EDIFICE, the first automatic collection debuts with forged carbon detailing—fusing motorsport-inspired design with precision mechanics.
EDIFICE takes a major step forward in 2025 with the launch of its very first automatic mechanical watches, marking a new chapter for the brand best known for its motorsport-inspired designs. Until now, EDIFICE has been defined by precision quartz technology, but this release brings the passion of mechanical engineering to the collection — watches powered by the rhythmic motion of a self-winding movement, much like the engine of a high-performance car.
At the center of the launch is the EFK-100XPB, the first EDIFICE model to feature a case and dial crafted from forged carbon, a material prized in the automotive and aerospace industries for its combination of strength and lightness. Forged carbon is produced by pressing carbon fiber and resin at high temperatures under immense pressure, resulting in unique marbled patterns that give every watch its own identity. The design captures the speed, power, and sophistication of sports cars, reinterpreted in EDIFICE style.
The new automatic movement delivers a power reserve of around 40 hours, with a sweep-motion seconds hand that glides smoothly across the dial. For enthusiasts, the see-through case back offers a view of the mechanism in motion, connecting the thrill of engineering precision to the world of timekeeping.
Design-wise, the collection balances sport and sophistication. The dial remains clean and purposeful with three hands and a date display, while phosphorescent-tipped hands ensure visibility in the dark. Fine finishing on the indexes and dial ring adds depth and texture, elevating the watch’s presence on the wrist.
Alongside the forged carbon EFK-100XPB, EDIFICE introduces models with stainless steel cases and bracelets, including the EFK-100CD and EFK-100D, which feature polished and brushed finishes that reflect a more classic, metallic aesthetic. All models are equipped with scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, ensuring durability as well as style.
With this release, EDIFICE proves its commitment to evolving beyond precision quartz into the world of mechanical horology. The first automatic watches in the line embody the brand’s DNA: inspired by motorsport, crafted with cutting-edge materials, and designed for those who value both performance and refinement.
