The case and strap of this classic three-hand model are made of super titanium. The watch also features a solar-powered in-house quartz movement and is equipped with a scratch-resistant sapphire glass, screwed case back and day/date display. Citizen has been using titanium, a rarely available raw material, to manufacture watches since 1970. Thanks to their excellent characteristics, watches made from Super Titanium are highly resistant. The Super Titanium used by Citizen is created by using the raw material of pure titanium and Citizen's own in-house coating technology (Duratect).
